Quest for fizzy yogurt drink

Developed in GG Maker.

The download link takes you to dropbox with two files:

(Dropbox might prompt you to sign in, but you should be able to dismiss the prompt and access the game without signing in)

The official final game is "FizzyYogurtDrink Setup.exe". This is an installer. This was originally developed in GG Maker and later Engine 001. It was built with Engine 001 because some files got corrupted and couldn't be opened in GG Maker anymore. (I thought they were compatible, but apparently not completely.)

The other file is a zip file that contains a much earlier version of the game that was built in GG Maker, it doesn't require installation. I uploaded this just to show that the game was developed in GG Maker. I intended to finish it in GG Maker, but I ran into the file corruption problem I mentioned earlier.

How we used the theme:

Kefir (the fizzy yogurt drink) is slightly fizzy because it grows bacteria that release carbon dioxide.

UPDATE: It looks like a GG Maker update fixed the compatibility issue, so I was able to open the files in GG Maker. I built an web version, you can play it here:

It's the same version as the official submission. You might have to hit tab or click just above the game to start playing.
