Hello there and thank you for taking the time to look at my work! I really hope you enjoy it! 

[I Woke Up Because It Hurt] is about a woman gorwing past and moving on from a very difficult time in her life, even if she doesn't realize that's what she's doing. Throw in some unscrupulous fridge contents, terrible taste in interior decorating, and children out way past their bedtime, and you've got one heck of a night to over come! 

It's a rather short visual novel with five different endings that all give different perspectives to the situation. 

If nothing else I hope the story can touch your heart in some way, maybe even change how you perceive those around you.
