In Deus Vult, you get to play god!

Become and omnibenevolent deity, or make your misotheistic dreams come to life!  Or both?  You can be as fickle and capricious as you desire!  But be careful, there are creatures who are watching you closely, waiting for the opportunity to usurp your throne.

Wipe out the monsters in all of their lairs and claim this land as your domain.  Your power is determined by the amount of faith held amongst your followers and their level of fervor in worshipping you.  Grow faith amongst your followers to get stronger, allowing you to take on monsters more effeciently.  You are also joined by two servants, an angel and a demon, who guide you along the way.  By making your followers fear you, demonic powers will grow stronger, conversely, if your people love you, your guardian angel will grow stronger.

The game has two main play styles, a strategic section in which you must choose actions to take for the day.  And traditional JRPG elements when clearing monster lairs or defending your towns from monster attacks.  I've classified this game as strategy because I feel that is more what I was going for.

This is my first game I've ever published and shared.  I hope you enjoy it!
