Heavily influenced by chess problems, Trees On Fire is a turn-based puzzle-strategy game in which each level tasks the player with halting the growth of a wildfire. The fire grows according to a cellular automaton pattern while the player arranges fire-fighting units in such a way that the fire dies out before it destroys any more of the surrounding area.
Trees On Fire was developed by Jonathan Carpenter (art and sound), Joshua Jackson (programming), and Zack Walsh (level design).
